Degenerative Disc Disease
Degenerative disc disease occurs when the cushion between the vertebral bones breaks down from aging resulting in pain and decreased flexibility. It may also cause back or neck pain the occasionally radiates to the legs or arms.

The diagnosis is made by history and physical examination and confirmed by radiological X-rays or MRI.
